Paradigm PoP mail is accessed using Google App's mail interface. One disadvantage of this has been that we have not been able to theme the email access well. When we were about to start using Greasemonkey to make it feel like a Paradigm PoP environment, I log in to find that Google has enabled themes on Google Apps!
(By the way, this is probably not their April fool's joke, which was http://mail.google.com/mail/help/autopilot/index.html)
On my personal account, I love me my ninja theme although recently I have been watching the dog balance the ice cream cones at the bus stop. Now I can customize the look on my official mail. This is the reason that 'beta' works so well, and it is reassuring for me and the approach I am taking with PoP Project (http://mypopproject.com) and PoP Circle (http://mypopcircle.com). As of now, PoP Project is already very powerful. However, I have a road map of features that will be beneficial, but that will further improve the experience of our users. Hence, we are releasing under the beta tag as is wont to do by Web 2.0 tech startups. Google started that revolution and continues exciting its user base by releasing features slowly after allowing the public to user their tool, instead of starting out with all of the features in place at the start. I hope to do the same with PoP Project, where we start out with awesome project management and continue creating excitement with new cool features releasing after the product itself is in the public.
